Liberty HS Photography

In October of 2019, WCTA hosted the Girls in Tech event. Middle school girls from across the valley come to participate and are encouraged to look into careers that are typically male-dominated. These fields include engineering, science, technology, and math. This year the activity in the photography program was creating their own Rosie the Riveter inspired comic art. In this activity, the girls had the opportunity to use professional equipment such as our photography studio, desktop computers, and various camera equipment. Overall, this event was a great success, all the girls had a good time and they were exposed to something that they might not have been through other means.
